Fiction Cozy Cabin

Hello! My name’s Raghdaa Abdelkhalek, and I operate this blog. I hope you don’t read my family name as something out of a sci-fi movie. I love writing, teaching and cats, and I give the last lion names.

I am going to use the cliché and say that I was born to be a writer because, hey! I had a book in my hand ever since I remember and I always knew I’d create similar books one day. I used to read my oldest brother’s books, and books for my parents when I was still in second grade. That must be around the time I had grasped the skill of reading. When I became a tween, I wrote stories under my blanket at night. At 15, I started my first novel that I never finished. Now I have three published short stories that won the first place in three writing contests in Envie Magazine, and a poem in the same magazine, under my pen name Sylvia Spark.

I am currently working on The Protector Trilogy which is YA, low fantasy, inspired by Ali Baba’s fairytale. I created Fiction Cozy Cabin to share with my fellow writers my humble knowledge of writing and publishing, and I admit, I have yet loads of stuff to learn.

Where can you reach me?

You can find me on social media under the name Sylvia Spark, or contact me at fictioncozycabin@gmail.com.
